Anya Alvarez
Anya is an LPGA teaching professional based in NYC at the River Club of New York and brings more than 10 years of experience to the world of golf instruction. After competing collegiately at the University of Washington, Anya played on the Epson and LPGA Tour between 2011 – 2014. During her professional career, she competed in two U.S. Opens and finished T-3 at the New Zealand Open in 2014, a sanctioned European Tour event. Her teaching style focuses on the fundamentals, while treating each of her students as a blank canvas, as there is not a one-size fits all golf swing. In addition, Anya weaves her experience as a professional golfer into her lessons, teaching people not only how to swing the club, but how to play golf. Her main goal is to help people have fun while learning and to leave their lessons feeling more confident in themselves.
